The Torch Doha

The Torch Doha Standing proudly above Aspire Zone, **The Torch Doha** is more than a hotel it is one of Qatar’s most recognizable landmarks. Rising **300 metres across 51 floors**, the building was created for the **2006 Asian Games in Doha**. Its unique shape was designed to look like a giant torch, and during the Games, it held the symbolic flame high above the city the highest-positioned Games flame.
