The Torch

The Torch Doha Standing proudly above Aspire Zone, The Torch Doha is more than a hotel it is one of Qatar’s most recognizable landmarks. Rising 300 metres across 51 floors, the building was created for the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. Its unique shape was designed to look like a giant torch, and during the Games, it held the symbolic flame high above the city the highest positioned Games flame. Today, its thousands of LED lights illuminate Doha’s skyline, while the Three Sixty revolving restaurant offers breathtaking views from the 47th floor. From a symbol of sporting celebration to a landmark of modern Qatar, The Torch continues to light up Doha reminding us that great dreams can rise high.
